The Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT) is a special test created to see how kids solve problems and think, without using words or language skills. It’s designed so kids from all different backgrounds can take it fairly. Schools use the NNAT to find students who might be really good at learning and thinking in unique ways. These students might be invited to join special programs that challenge them to learn faster and explore new ideas. Kids in kindergarten through 12th grade can take this test, either by themselves or with a group of classmates. Click the buttons below to see my NNAT scores!

I have been accepted into the West Orange Public Schools Gifted Program.

This program is designed to help kids who learn in special and advanced ways. It gives them chances to learn new and exciting things beyond what they do in a regular classroom. Students get to work with other kids who think like they do, explore big ideas, and try fun, challenging projects. The program also helps them think creatively, solve problems, and make smart choices about their work. It encourages kids to take charge of their learning, check their progress, and keep improving. This program makes sure students stay excited, inspired, and ready to do their best!

I tinker around in Code.org in my spare time. Code.org is a nonprofit organization that believes every student should get a chance to learn computer science and artificial intelligence in school. They work to make coding lessons available to all kids, especially girls and students who might not usually get these opportunities. Code.org creates fun and easy-to-use computer science lessons for schools and runs the famous Hour of Code event, where millions of kids around the world try coding for an hour. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google support Code.org to help them bring coding to more classrooms everywhere!

I was among the few nominated to CORESSWC’s Financial Discipline Award (FDA) Program by principal Ms Kimya Jackson to represent West Orange Board of Education and I am so happy and grateful for that! This program has following objectives:

Learn Good Money Habits: Understand how to manage money wisely and responsibly.

Help with Family Expenses: Be part of planning and keeping track of how money is spent at home.

Start Saving Early: Learn how to set aside money for future needs.

Plan for Your Future: Join in decisions that will help you be ready to manage money when you grow up.
